We are excited to announce the formation of the OTGAFC Wellbeing Committee and Strategy which is led by Layne Stretton, Nick Pearce and Tess Young.
Over the next few weeks, we will be releasing information as to our plans and the areas where people can make a contribution.
Our Mission is to create a club culture that contributes positively to the health and wellbeing of every member, establishing a culture of performance and accountability whilst building skills that will help people to flourish.
Our Wellbeing Story is going to be underpinned by the following aspirations:
To be known and celebrated as the club that cares about its people and their performance in all areas of life, both now and in the future.
Prioritise individual and collective wellbeing as a foundation for club culture and performance.
Build a sustainable structure for the development and execution of a wellbeing program and implement the skills and capabilities that ensure a long term wellbeing focus and accountability.
We want to create a team of people connected to the club, that have the desire, lived experience and skills necessary to develop and implement a plan for the wellbeing of every person that is connected to the club.
